belly-roastWe are excited to announce that we have found a new pig farmer who farms to our ethical standards.

The pigs are raised outside Stanford and are an Iberian Red breed. They are fed on acorns in season but also whey from a small artisan cheese maker.

From their first days they are able to roam freely in the pastures, turning the soil with their snouts eating grubs and roots and making their own wallows.

There are no antibiotics or growth hormones in their diets. We have prime cuts, mince and more on sale this week.
