We have added one of our family favourites to the order form this week – Santa Anna’s Organic Corn Chips. Everyone likes a crunchy something to snack on before a braai or at a picnic and these make the perfect snack. We normally eat them with salsa and guacamole as an alternative to packaged chips. The tortillas are fantastic with chilli beef or chicken strips, along with the guac and salsa.

Amazing Guacamole

avo2 ripe avocados
2 ripe tomatoes
2 cloves garlic
1 red onion
1 lemon
Salt and Pepper

Put the flesh of the avos into a blender with salt, pepper, garlic and lemon juice and blend until almost smooth.
Finely chop the tomatoes and onion. Mix into the blended avocado mixture.
Adjust seasoning and serve with Santa Anna Organic Chips.

The BEST salsa

1 can of chopped tomatoessalsa
2 fresh ripe tomatoes
2 cloves of garlic
1 red onion
1 bunch of fresh coriander
1 teaspoon of sugar/stevia/xylitol
Olive oil
Red wine vinegar
Black pepper

Put all the ingredients into a blender and blend until chunky but well mixed. You can keep this in the fridge for a week. Serve with Santa Anna Organic Chips or use as a topping for your Santa Anna Tortillas.
